Sell Products from Amazon.com and Make Money
Have you been trying long and hard to make money online with no success? If yes – I can hear you. I have been there too. I have build sites for the sole purpose of making money with Adsense. I have subscribed to PRL sites and also filled surveys. However I never made money that justified the effort I had put into these enterprises.
I was so desperate and on the verge of giving up when I read an article. It had no hype just simple logic that made a lot of sense. For that reason I decided to give it a try. It was an article on how to make money with Amazon.com. I rolled my sleeves up and worked hard for a month or so and I started to see results from my work.
In this article I want to share my experience with you and hopefully to help a few of you out there finally make some money online. Before I go on I want to tell you that you don\’t have to spend a dime with my method to start earning money online. That being said let\’s move on.
The very first thing you need to do is to sign up to Amazon\’s affiliate program. It is completely free and you get instant approval (just Google Amazon Affiliate Program). You will be asked to provide details of one of your websites during the sign up process. Don\’t worry if you don\’t have one – use any website on the Internet that looks decent and offers valuable information.
After signing up we need to choose product to promote. This is no easy task. Amazon is the largest internet retailer with 5.5 billion dollars revenue for 2008. They carry hundreds of thousands of items that makes picking a few to promote almost an impossible task. Luckily for us Amazon provides lists of their top 100 best selling items by category.
To see them you need to click on any of the categories on the left side at Amazon.com. You will instantly see the top 10 best selling products in that category. Click on See All Bestsellers at the bottom of the list and you will see the top 100 best selling items in that category. In my opinion this is pure gold. It is Amazon itself giving us access to such valuable info. we have to nothing else but to promote them and make money. You might ask how to promote them?
It is really easy to promote items from the vast Amazon.com catalog. It is a well known fact that Google loves certain websites more than others. It basically means that whatever you put on them it hits the first pages of the search engine in a matter of days. One of those websites is Squidoo.com. It is completely free to post on it – all you need to do is to create an account with them and start posting.
I can hear you asking – What to post?. In general we want to post reviews of the products we want to promote. Amazon.com allows it customers to review items they have bought. All you need to do is read the first page of reviews and come up with a 300 word review of your own. It will be hard in the beginning but you will soon become better. Right now I need about 15 minutes to craft one.
After writing a review you need to post it on Squidoo.com. Most of the times it hits the first page of Google in a few days. It sounds easy and it is. However if you write one review and stop you won\’t see any results. You need to write at least 100 to see the money coming.
